The accommodation is built to impress, with luxury double units, single units, and family units – Letsatsi caters for any type of holiday or business trip. The upmarket luxury units all have a Queen and ¾ beds as standard, for the small family. The en-suite bathroom is spacious, and the outside shower add a bit of adventure! For the “fussy” camper, stay in the comfort of a self-catering chalet with the unmissable feeling of camping in the “quiet outdoors”. These chalets, with their tented sides and windows all have an air conditioning and a comfy queen sized bed. The unique family units are ideal for a well-deserved breakaway, enjoy a night’s rest in our luxuriously decorated rooms and an outside built-in braai for some quality family time around the crackling fire.

The Letsatsi team is not ready to settle down just yet – and thanks to the hard work and dedication of several parties they are proud to announce a new accommodation option coming soon, late 2024, luxury 5-star camping! They’ve heard your requests and they are responding in the best way possible – by building a new camp site for their guests to enjoy all year round. This campsite will be equipped with easy to access plots, each with its own bathroom facility and kitchenette. Simply hook up your camper to the on-site power supply and enjoy nature in its simplest form.

Historical Church
Letsatsi is famously known for its historic church which came as an assignment to Bishop Odilon Fages in early 1926 to establish, under his leadership, a Roman Catholic mission station at Vanrhynsdorp. During 1927 a church and school building was built and completed. It was decided to build a new church, as the churchgoers increased dramatically because of natives and families settling at the mission station. Father Lazarus and members of his congregation were building the facilities, and on November 25, 1951, the new church building was inaugurated.

Turn back the clock! It’s time to go back in time and visit the jail museum while you stay with us. Located just a stone’s throw away from the lodge, is the old Jail Museum. We recommend you visit this unique place for a rich part of the Vanrhynsdorp history.
