Venue Information

Venue coordinator fee (non-negotiable)

  • 0 – 50 guests: R3 000
  • 51 – 100 guests: R5 000
  • 100 plus guests: R7 500

Main Venue Hire
Reception capacity of up to 130 guests.
Our venue fee ensures that the venue is exclusively yours on the day of your event.
In-season venue hire: R20 000
Out of season venue hire: R12 000 (May – July)
Outside lawn ceremony: R3 000

Venue Hire Included:
The venue is exclusively yours for your wedding or event from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight).

Included is the porch area with a stretched tent.

  • Tables and chairs.
  • In-house florist to coordinate all your décor and floral needs on the day. Cost not included in the venue cost.
  • Stainless steel cutlery and white crockery.
  • A fully staffed and functional kitchen.
  • Waiters and bartenders for the duration of your wedding | event. Additional cost will apply after midnight, R2,000 per hour.
  • Bottled water for each guest on arrival.
  • Ample parking for guests and 12 VIP parking spots.
  • A pre-wedding tasting for up to 2 people can be arranged at a cost of R500 per person.
  • On-site security.
  • Complementary name plaque, with your name and wedding date engraved, and to be added to our Wedding Wall.
  • Cleaning of the venue before and after the wedding | event.
  • Venue Hire Excludes
  • Breakage deposit of R3,000 (breakage or loss of goods will be deducted from this amount, and the remainder will be refunded after your wedding | event).
  • Cost of chosen décor and flowers on the day of your wedding | event. Additional cost that we will quote you on.
  • Corkage fee of R45 per 750 ml bottle.
  • The venue fee is R2,000 per hour after 12:00 a.m. (midnight)
  • Photographer | Videographer.
  • Music | Sound | Lightning.
  • Accommodation – we can supply you with a list of neighbouring guesthouses.

Tent venue cost
Set up for 80 guests
30 guests: R3 000
30 – 50 guests: R5 000
50 – 80 guests: R6 500

Included

  • Tables and chairs | crockery and cutlery | limited outside bar (barman & waiters)
  • Self-help buffet set up.

Food
Our menu options are designed to give you the freedom to create your own menu structure from the dishes on offer.
Menu options on request.
We welcome children of all ages, and children’s menus can be pre-arranged.
Wedding cake and suppliers may be discussed.
Kosher or Halal meals would need to be pre-arranged.
No outside catering is allowed.
Plated menu option available at an extra R50 p.p.

Beverages
Fully licensed bar.
We offer a full range of Namaqua Wines, including Red Ox wines, which feature red, white, rosé, and sparkling varieties.
A standard range of soft drinks, beer, ciders and spirits is available. No exception will be made.
Ice included.
Should you prefer to bring your own wine, a corkage fee of R45 per 750 ml bottle will be charged. Note that this must be prearranged.
The bar’s last call is at 11:45 p.m. Unless prearranged with management at an extra fee.

Flowers and décor
We provide a dedicated venue coordinator on the day of your event, who will be responsible for all your décor and floral needs with our in-house florist on site.
Flowers for the special day will be discussed with the bridal couple and quoted on separately.
Décor and flowers will not be outsourced to a third-party vendor. Décor guide available on request.

Wedding agreement
Not excluding any other information in the wedding package.

  1. To confirm the booking, the venue hire must be paid on the date of the booking.
  2. Full and final payment must be made one month before the wedding | function.
  3. Any damage to property or appliances caused by you or your guests will be at your account.
  4. No guests are allowed to bring their own alcohol or food to the venue.
  5. No food can be taken off-site after the function, and no open bottles of alcohol will be allowed to be removed.
  6. The kitchen area and fridges are strictly off-limits to all guests. Items such as the wedding cake or other agreed-upon items brought in by the wedding party, which may be removed after the event, will be handed over to the designated person between 09:00 and 10:00 the morning after the wedding or function in the main venue area.
  7. No fireworks allowed on the premises.
  8. We only allow the use of biodegradable confetti to protect our fauna and flora.
  9. Please note it is your responsibility to ensure that your guests are well-behaved.

The use of the venue is at one’s own risk.
